The intricate nature of procurement processes, coupled with unforeseen changes and resource limitations, can lead to schedule delays, budgetary issues, and missed deadlines. This can have cascading effects on budgets, public perception, and program outcomes.
HigherEchelon uses state of the art program management techniques to ensure that our programs stay on track, including realistic baselining, proactive risk management, integrated change management, Earned Value Management (EVM), and cutting-edge monitoring techniques using modern technologies.
Program management thrives on a strong, motivated team, but staffing and human capital challenges can throw a wrench in the works. Finding the right talent with the specific skills needed can be a struggle, especially in competitive markets. Even existing teams might lack the necessary expertise, leading to inefficient work and delays.
HigherEchelon knows that having the right people with the right skills in the right places is key to the success of any program. To accomplish this for our customers, we employ targeted recruiting campaigns that seek candidates with both the requisite skills and first-hand experience with the subject matter. We also prioritize the professional development of our employees to ensure that they are always ready to meet their next challenge head on. HigherEchelon boasts an industry-leading retention rate and is ready to bring the perfect candidate to bear on any engineering program.
Applying standard processes to diverse projects disregards project specificities, hindering adaptability and responsiveness. Inability to adapt processes to changing needs and unforeseen circumstances can lead to inefficiency and missed opportunities.
HigherEchelon was founded over a decade ago to accomplish the mission of helping customers achieve organizational excellence. As such, optimized processes are part of our corporate DNA. We utilize AI-supported predictive analytics, cloud-based project management software, process gamification, agile methodologies, and adaptive frameworks to ensure that we never apply a one-size-fits-all solution to a customer’s unique problem.
The Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Evaluation Center (TEC) is home to laboratories that provide high-fidelity simulations to THAAD batteries for realistic unit training and to ensure interoperability with all systems within the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) architecture. These simulations enable objective assessments of the effectiveness of THAAD software products and processes. HigherEchelon’s engineers support the TEC by providing program management assistance,
logistics support, procurement, and inventory control support. Additionally, HE provides independent verification and validation (IV&V) of THAAD software products to ensure their effectiveness and their interoperability with all other systems within the BMDS ecosystem.
